Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 28/06/2035 from Dushanbe, Tajikistan:

The Dushanbe venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Qalqandar Agaev (8 - 2) who hails from Dushanbe, Tajikistan and Bilal Zain(0 - 1) from Kolkata, India.  

Round 1: 

Zain hits home with a cross.  
Agaev sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands with a stiff jab.  
Agaev is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross to the head, a jab to the head and a cross to the body.  
Agaev feints a right hook, and then lands with a stiff jab.  
Agaev is on target with a cross to his opponents body.  
Zain tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Zain gets on the inside and connects with a solid left uppercut.  
Agaev hits home with a solid right hook.

Zain manages to force Agaev into the blue corner.  Zain lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.

Zain connects with a firm overhand left.  
Agaev lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Zain hits home with a stinging right hook.

Zain closes the distance.  Agaev lands a left hook.  
Zain throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Agaev holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks Agaev's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Zain closes the distance.  Agaev lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Agaev clinches his opponent.  Agaev is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Zain is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Zain about fouling.
