Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 05/08/2035 from Fukuoka, Japan:

The Fukuoka venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Kaede Obi (1 - 0) who hails from Kitakyushu, Japan and Greg Loong(1 - 3) from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.  

Round 1: 

Obi is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Loong hits home with an overhand left.  
Loong tries to land a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Loong walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Obi lands a left hook.  
Loong sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Obi connects with a cross.  
Loong is on target with a left hook.  
Obi switches the action to the outside and lands a jab.  Obi throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Obi feints a left, and then lands a jab to the body followed by a overhand right to the head.  
Obi attempts to land an overhand right, but Loong slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Obi sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Loong connects with a cross.

Obi switches the action to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Loong steps inside.  Obi drives a left uppercut into Loong's body.  
Obi tries to step out of his opponents range and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Obi lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Loong advances into close range and cuts off the ring, trapping Obi on the ropes.  Loong hits home with a right hook.  
Obi switches the action to the outside and is on target with a sharp cross.  
Loong is looking to close the distance.  Loong sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Obi lands a left uppercut.  
Obi lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Obi's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid. Loong's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!
