Bradley Maver vs Mark Roddick

Boxing Daily Report from the Australia National Finals 2036,  taking place on 11/03/2036 from Geelong, Australia:

The Geelong venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Bradley Maver (7 - 18(2)) who hails from Adelaide, Australia and Mark Roddick(10(1) - 3) from Melbourne, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Roddick lands an overhand right followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.

Roddick walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Roddick drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Roddick lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Roddick clinches his opponent.  Roddick is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Roddick drives a firm right hook into Maver's ribs.  
Roddick lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Maver lands a right hook.  
Roddick stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Maver lands a sharp jab.

Roddick steps to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.

Maver sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Roddick lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Roddick feints a cross, tricking Maver into throwing a left hook counter.  Roddick springs the trap, countering with  a big left uppercut.  MAVER HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 7.
