Boxing Daily Report from the South Korea National Finals 2036,  taking place on 29/04/2036 from Goyang, South Korea:

The Goyang venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Featherweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Bum-young Ye (19(4) - 17) who hails from Changwon, South Korea and Chang-woo Cho(12 - 4) from Gwangju, South Korea.  

Round 1: 

Ye is looking to close the distance and is on target with a firm left hook to Cho's body.  Ye ties up his opponent.  Cho is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Ye's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Ye gets on the inside.  Cho digs in a stinging right uppercut to Ye's body.  Ye clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Ye pushes his forearm into Cho's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Ye.  
Cho steps to the outside and lands an overhand right.  
Ye closes the distance.  Cho hits home with a sharp right uppercut.  
Ye sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a sharp right hook into Cho's ribcage.  
Ye sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a powerful left uppercut to Cho's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE CHO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Ye is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Ye lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left uppercut to the body, AND CHO IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  Cho now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

Ye whips in a mean left uppercut to his opponents liver.  CHO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Cho almost instantly recovers.

Ye closes the distance.  Cho throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Ye holds on to his opponent.  Ye leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Ye's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Ye hits home with a right uppercut.  
Ye is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Cho attempts to land a right hook, but Ye dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Ye lands a SAVAGE left uppercut.  CHO HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 6.  
Ye crashes a nasty right hook to Cho's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE CHO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Cho recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Ye lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Ye lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Ye ties up his opponent.  Ye leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Ye pushes his forearm into Cho's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ye sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Ye lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Ye ties up his opponent.  Cho uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Ye's kidney. 
Cho tries to land a cross, but Ye slips the shot and counters with a VICIOUS right hook.  CHO IS HURT!  Cho recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Ye gets on the inside and crashes a spiteful left hook to Cho's liver.  CHO HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  
Ye lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Ye lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Cho attempts to land a right hook, but Ye slips the shot and counters with a BRUTAL cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE CHO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Cho quickly recovers. 
Ye sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Ye is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Ye lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Ye sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Cho throws a right hook, but Ye holds on to his opponent.  Ye tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Cho's kidney. 
Ye lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Ye throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Ye clinches his opponent.  Cho uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Ye behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Cho to stop fouling.  
Cho throws a left hook, but Ye holds on to his opponent.  Cho tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Ye behind the head. Ye is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Cho is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ye is on target with a firm right uppercut to Cho's body.  
Ye advances into close range.  Ye sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to Cho's body.  
Cho throws a right hook, but Ye holds on to his opponent.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Ye to stop holding.  
Ye lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, KNOCKING CHO DOWN!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Ye!
