Leeroy Elrick vs Adam Wattles

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 17/05/2036 from Edmonton, Canada:

The Edmonton venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Leeroy Elrick (13 - 7) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Adam Wattles(2 - 7) from Edmonton, Canada.  

Round 1: 

Elrick steps inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Wattles goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Elrick time to recover.

Wattles hits home with a cross.  
Elrick closes the distance and lands a right hook.  
Elrick is on target with a firm left hook.  
Elrick closes the distance.  Elrick quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but  throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Elrick to the neutral corner.  He tells Wattles he will lose a point if he continues to foul.  
Elrick closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Elrick pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Wattles is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross.  
Elrick cuts off the ring, trapping Wattles in the corner.  Elrick lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Elrick throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Elrick holds on to his opponent.  Elrick pushes his forearm into Wattles's face.  The ref breaks Elrick's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
