Ju-young Pong vs Banchadej Petnamtong

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 01/07/2036 from Changwon, South Korea:

The Changwon venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ju-young Pong (16 - 13) who hails from Changwon, South Korea and Banchadej Petnamtong(4 - 8) from Bangkok, Thailand.  

Round 1: 

Pong advances into close range and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Pong gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Petnamtong switches the action to the outside.  Petnamtong quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Pong tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Petnamtong lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Petnamtong tries to keep the action at long range and snaps his opponents head back with a stinging jab.

Petnamtong throws a left hook, but Pong ties up his opponent.  Pong leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Pong gets on the inside and walks Petnamtong down, trapping him in the corner.  Petnamtong connects with a right hook.  
Petnamtong pivots from in front of his opponent and digs in a firm left uppercut to his opponents liver.
