Dai Falconer vs Duncan Sterett

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 06/08/2036 from San Antonio, USA:

The San Antonio venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dai Falconer (37 - 5) who hails from Dallas, USA and Duncan Sterett(2 - 6) from Nashville, USA.  

Round 1: 

Falconer finds the target with a ramrod jab.  
Sterett tries to land a cross, but Falconer slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Sterett is looking to close the distance.  Sterett pivots to the side of his opponent, but Falconer lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.

Falconer sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Sterett advances into close range and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Sterett forces Falconer to retreat onto the ropes.  Falconer is on target with a right hook.

Falconer lands a spiteful jab.  
Falconer tries to step out of his opponents range and lands with a sharp jab.  
Falconer feints a cross, fooling Sterett into launching a right hook counter.  Falconer springs the trap and counters with  a firm right uppercut.

Falconer feints a cross, but Sterett does not fall for it and lands with a solid cross.

Falconer stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Sterett attempts to land a cross, but Falconer sidesteps and counters with a stinging right uppercut.

Falconer drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Sterett lands a right uppercut.  
Falconer switches the action to the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Falconer lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Falconer hits home with a spiteful jab.  
Sterett closes the distance and manages to force Falconer onto the ropes.  Sterett pivots from in front of his opponent, but Falconer connects with a left hook.  
Falconer steps away from his opponent and finds the target with a stiff jab.

Sterett advances into close range.  Falconer connects with a right hook.  Falconer ties up his opponent.  Sterett tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Falconer behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Sterett.  
Falconer is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Sterett closes the distance.  Sterett pivots from in front of his opponent.  Sterett lands a right uppercut.  Falconer clinches his opponent.  Sterett tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Falconer behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Sterett to stop fouling.  
Sterett advances into close range.  Sterett quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Falconer lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.
