Kieran Doyle vs Robert Owen

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 24/11/2036 from Leeds, UK:

The Leeds venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Kieran Doyle (20 - 3) who hails from Hull, UK and Robert Owen(0 - 2) from Glasgow, UK.  

Round 1: 

Doyle gets on the inside and hits home with a firm right hook.  
Doyle gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Doyle manouvers Owen into the blue corner.  Owen lands a left hook.  
Doyle sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Owen steps away from his opponent.  Owen feints a left, and then throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Owen lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Doyle gets on the inside.  Doyle pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Doyle hits home with a sharp cross.  
Owen pivots to the side of his opponent, but Doyle lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Doyle lands a solid jab.  
Doyle lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Doyle advances into close range.  Owen goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Doyle's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Doyle gets on the inside.  Owen attempts to land a right hook, but Doyle sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Doyle advances into close range and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Doyle steps inside.  Doyle pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Doyle steps inside and hits home with a solid right hook.  
Doyle walks Owen onto the ropes.  Doyle lands a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Doyle's trainer is telling his fighter to play it safe for the remainder of the fight.
