Louis Whitehorn vs Diego Aguayo

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 01/12/2036 from Buenos Aires, Argentina:

The Buenos Aires venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Louis Whitehorn (1 - 0) who hails from Des Moines, USA and Diego Aguayo(4 - 5) from Buenos Aires, Argentina.  

Round 1: 

Aguayo gets on the inside and digs in a left uppercut to Whitehorn's ribs.  
Aguayo steps inside and lands a left hook.  
Aguayo is looking to close the distance and forces Whitehorn to retreat onto the ropes.  Whitehorn throws a left hook, but Aguayo ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Aguayo pushes his forearm into Whitehorn's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Aguayo about fouling.  
Aguayo sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Aguayo gets on the inside and connects with a sharp left hook.  
Aguayo lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Aguayo lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Aguayo closes the distance and connects with a left hook.  
Whitehorn drives a solid right hook into Aguayo's ribcage.  
Aguayo closes the distance.  Aguayo pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a left hook into Whitehorn's ribs.  
Whitehorn is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Aguayo steps inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Whitehorn switches the action to the outside and tries to land a jab, but Aguayo slips the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Aguayo is looking to close the distance and lands a sharp left hook.  
Aguayo forces Whitehorn to back into the ropes.  Aguayo is on target with a stinging right hook.  Aguayo ties up his opponent.  Aguayo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Aguayo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Aguayo pivots to the left of his opponent.  Aguayo throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Aguayo ties up his opponent.  Aguayo tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Whitehorn's kidney. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Aguayo is on target with a firm left uppercut.  
Whitehorn steps away from his opponent.  Aguayo attempts to land a jab, but Whitehorn sidesteps and counters with a left hook.

Aguayo is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  Aguayo holds on to his opponent.  Aguayo throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Aguayo about fouling.

Aguayo steps inside.  Aguayo pivots to the side of his opponent.  Whitehorn attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Aguayo to the neutral corner.  He warns Whitehorn to stop fouling or he'll lose a point.  
Aguayo sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Aguayo manouvers Whitehorn into the blue corner.  Aguayo lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Whitehorn throws a right uppercut, but Aguayo ties up his opponent.  Aguayo leans on his opponent using all his weight. Aguayo tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Whitehorn's kidney. The ref breaks Aguayo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Whitehorn tries to step out of his opponents range.  Aguayo hits home with an overhand right.  
Aguayo is on target with a solid right hook.  
Aguayo manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Aguayo hits home with a left uppercut.  
Aguayo advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Aguayo lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Aguayo lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Aguayo lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Whitehorn is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with a cross.
