Yuichi Hirai vs Ryuu Goto

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 03/12/2036 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Yuichi Hirai (25 - 3) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Ryuu Goto(0 - 4) from Saitama, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Hirai gets on the inside.  Hirai pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Goto is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Hirai closes the distance.  Goto throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Hirai gets on the inside.  Hirai pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

Goto lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Hirai leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Goto accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Hirai.  
Goto drives a right uppercut into Hirai's body.  Goto throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Goto pivots to the right of his opponent, but Hirai lands a cross.  
Goto sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Hirai lands a cross.  
Hirai advances into close range and lands a right hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Goto is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Hirai lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Goto is looking to keep the action on the outside and attempts to land a cross, but Hirai slips the shot and counters with a left hook to Goto's body.  
Goto attempts to land a jab, but Hirai sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Goto pivots from in front of his opponent.  Goto attempts to land a left uppercut, but Hirai blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Hirai's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.
