Vere Douillet vs Giles Gracq

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 09/12/2036 from Paris, France:

The Paris venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Vere Douillet (22 - 16) who hails from Paris, France and Giles Gracq(0 - 7) from Marseille, France.  

Round 1: 

Gracq hits home with a right uppercut.  
Douillet manages to force Gracq into the red corner.  Douillet connects with a right hook.  
Douillet lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Douillet attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Gracq time to recover.

Douillet connects with a right hook.  Douillet attempts to land a left uppercut, but Gracq blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Douillet uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Gracq behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Douillet.  
Douillet throws a left hook, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Douillet holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Douillet forces Gracq to back into the ropes.  Gracq goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Douillet's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Douillet advances into close range and drives a left uppercut into his opponents liver.  
Gracq lands a right uppercut.  Gracq throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut to Gracq's ribs.  
Douillet connects with a right hook.  
Douillet is on target with a stinging left uppercut.  
Douillet gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Douillet clinches his opponent.  Gracq is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Gracq about fouling.  
Douillet lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.
