Owen Stobie vs Noah Thomson

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 10/12/2036 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Owen Stobie (37 - 9) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Noah Thomson(2 - 2) from New York City, USA.  

Round 1: 

Stobie lands a jab.  
Thomson closes the distance.  Stobie drives a stinging left hook into Thomson's body.  
Stobie steps away from his opponent and tries to land a cross, but Thomson slips the shot and counters with a left hook.

Thomson throws a left hook, but Stobie holds on to his opponent.  Thomson pushes his forearm into Stobie's face.  The ref breaks Stobie's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Thomson lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Thomson throws a right hook, but Stobie ties up his opponent.  Stobie leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Stobie is looking to close the distance and attempts to land a left hook, but Thomson sidesteps and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Thomson throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Thomson lands a left hook.  
Thomson connects with a left hook.  Stobie clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Stobie pushes his forearm into Thomson's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Stobie to stop fouling.
