Alastair Casey vs James Logan

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 21/02/2037 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Alastair Casey (42 - 6) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and James Logan(2 - 6) from Louisville, USA.  

Round 1: 

Casey snaps his opponents head back with a sharp jab.

Logan finds the target with a stinging jab.  Logan throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Casey connects with a stinging left hook.  Casey holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Casey pushes his forearm into Logan's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Casey to stop fouling.

Casey steps inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.

Casey quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Logan attempts to land a left uppercut, but Casey sidesteps and counters with a right hook.

Logan switches the action to the outside.  Casey lands with a ramrod jab.  Casey attempts to land a jab, but Logan parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Casey drives a hard jab into his opponents face.  
Casey closes the distance and manouvers Logan onto the ropes.  Casey lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Casey drives a left uppercut into Logan's liver.  
Casey is on target with a stinging right hook to Logan's ribs.  
Casey lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Casey connects with a solid right uppercut.  
Logan lands a right hook.  Casey ties up his opponent.  Casey leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Casey lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Casey closes the distance and digs in a solid right uppercut to Logan's body.

Casey digs in a firm right hook to Logan's ribs.  
Casey lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.
