Juan Trujillo vs Ekhard Pettinger

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 04/03/2037 from Havana, Cuba:

The Havana venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Juan Trujillo (28 - 1) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Ekhard Pettinger(6 - 5) from Munich, Germany.  

Round 1: 

Trujillo snaps his opponents head back with a ramrod jab.  
Pettinger lands a ramrod jab.  
Pettinger lands a cross.  
Trujillo tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a spiteful jab.  Trujillo attempts to land a jab, but Pettinger dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Pettinger gets on the inside and walks Trujillo onto the ropes.  Trujillo drives a left hook into his opponents body.  Trujillo throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Pettinger to the neutral corner.  He warns Trujillo that he could be heading for a point deduction.  
Trujillo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Trujillo attempts to land an overhand right, but Pettinger dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Trujillo feints a cross, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Trujillo throws an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Trujillo tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a stinging overhand right.  
Pettinger closes the distance.  Pettinger pivots to the side of his opponent, but Trujillo is on target with a right hook to Pettinger's body.  
Pettinger lands a left hook.  
Pettinger steps inside and manages to force Trujillo into the corner.  Trujillo is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Pettinger lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Trujillo lands an overhand left.  
Trujillo tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with an overhand right.  
Trujillo lands a firm cross.  
Pettinger attempts to land a jab, but Trujillo sidesteps and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Trujillo sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands with a spiteful jab.  
Trujillo tries to step out of his opponents range and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Trujillo hits home with a firm overhand right.  Trujillo throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Trujillo tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.

Trujillo lands a firm cross.  
Pettinger manouvers Trujillo onto the ropes.  Trujillo is on target with a cross.  
Pettinger stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Trujillo lands with a hard jab.
