Vasili Borisov vs Faddei Makuch

Boxing Daily Report from the Belarus National Finals 2037,  taking place on 11/03/2037 from Gomel, Belarus:

The Gomel venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Vasili Borisov (3 - 1) who hails from Minsk, Belarus and Faddei Makuch(29(14) - 12) from Mogilev, Belarus.  

Round 1:

Makuch closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Borisov recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Makuch lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Makuch crashes a spiteful right hook to Borisov's ribcage.  BORISOV IS HURT!  Borisov almost instantly recovers.

Makuch gets on the inside and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.

Makuch is on target with a solid left hook to Borisov's body.  Makuch tries to land a right hook, but Borisov blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Makuch advances into close range and cuts off the ring, trapping Borisov in the blue corner.  Makuch lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body, AND SENDS BORISOV SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 8.  
Makuch senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Makuch lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DROPS BORISOV TO THE CANVAS!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Makuch!
