Boxing Daily Report from the Colombia National Finals 2037,  taking place on 11/03/2037 from Itagui, Colombia:

The Itagui venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Super Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Montel Yanes (3 - 16(1)) who hails from Medellin, Colombia and Ryo Bedoya(14(1) - 2) from Barranquilla, Colombia.  

Round 1:

Bedoya sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Bedoya lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Bedoya ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Bedoya manages to force Yanes onto the ropes.  Bedoya sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a telling right uppercut into Yanes's ribs.  YANES IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Yanes is looking to keep the action on the outside and finds the target with a jab.
