Alano Montalbo vs Rico Velazco

Boxing Daily Report from the Argentina National Finals 2037,  taking place on 14/03/2037 from Salta, Argentina:

The Salta venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Alano Montalbo (9 - 10) who hails from Buenos Aires, Argentina and Rico Velazco(31 - 8(1)) from Buenos Aires, Argentina.  

Round 1: 

Velazco lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Montalbo sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a cross into his opponents body.  
Velazco lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Velazco pivots to the right of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
Montalbo attempts to land a left uppercut, but Velazco sidesteps and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Velazco switches the action to the outside.  Velazco circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Montalbo attempts to land a jab, but Velazco parries the shot and counters with a right hook to Montalbo's body.  
Montalbo sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Velazco is on target with a jab.  
Montalbo steps to the outside.  Velazco hits home with a cross.  
Montalbo advances into close range.  Velazco is on target with a left hook to Montalbo's body.  
Montalbo steps away from his opponent.  Velazco lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Montalbo drives a right uppercut into Velazco's ribcage.  
Velazco tries to keep the action at long range and lands a solid jab.  
Velazco is looking to close the distance and hits home with a sharp right hook.

Velazco is on target with an overhand right.  
Velazco lands a straight 1 - 2.  He then lands a jab, overhand left and a jab to his opponents head.  
Velazco connects with a nasty cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE MONTALBO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!

Velazco tries to step out of his opponents range and SLAMS a spiteful cross into his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE MONTALBO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Montalbo quickly recovers.

Montalbo tries to land a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Velazco DETONATES a big overhand left on his opponents face.  MONTALBO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Velazco sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Velazco lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND MONTALBO IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 6.  
Montalbo now seems to have got his legs back.  
Velazco lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Montalbo connects with a solid overhand right.  
Velazco lands a firm cross.  
Montalbo strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Velazco is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab.

As they grapple, Montalbo pushes his forearm into Velazco's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Montalbo about fouling.
