Hikaru Amano vs Daksa Darmono

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 20/03/2037 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Hikaru Amano (36(1) - 12) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Daksa Darmono(1 - 0) from Padang, Indonesia.  

Round 1: 

Darmono walks Amano down, trapping him on the ropes.  Amano is on target with a firm right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Darmono tries to step out of his opponents range and drives a solid jab into his opponents face.  
Amano closes the distance.  Darmono digs in a left hook to Amano's body.  Darmono tries to land a right uppercut, but Amano parries the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.

Amano sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Amano drives a left hook into Darmono's ribs.  Amano ties up his opponent.  Amano pushes his forearm into Darmono's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Amano about fouling.

Amano drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Amano forces Darmono to retreat into the corner.  Darmono is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Darmono pivots from in front of his opponent, but Amano lands a jab.

Darmono is looking to keep his distance.  Darmono sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a solid cross.  
Amano digs in a left hook to Darmono's body.

Darmono pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Amano gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Amano closes the distance and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Amano clinches his opponent.  Amano leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Amano's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Darmono quickly recovers.
