Boxing Daily Report from the Kenya National Finals 2037,  taking place on 26/03/2037 from Ruiru, Kenya:

The Ruiru venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jamie Verdi (7 - 11) who hails from Kangundo-Tala, Kenya and Paul Korir(1 - 2) from Nairobi, Kenya.

Korir sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Verdi steps inside and tries to land a right hook, but Korir sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Verdi steps inside and throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Verdi lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Verdi hits home with a left hook.  
Korir leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Verdi accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Korir.
