Boxing Daily Report from the Kenya National Finals 2037,  taking place on 26/03/2037 from Ruiru, Kenya:

The Ruiru venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Danyaal Kharoti (12 - 21) who hails from Nakuru, Kenya and Chris Jelimo(12 - 23(1)) from Kikuyu, Kenya.  

Round 1:

Jelimo is looking to close the distance.  Kharoti digs in a left uppercut to Jelimo's body.  
Jelimo sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Kharoti lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Kharoti throws a left hook, but Jelimo clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Jelimo pushes his forearm into Kharoti's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
