Boxing Daily Report from the Finland National Finals 2037,  taking place on 29/03/2037 from Tampere, Finland:

The Tampere venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Hemmo Tikkanen (6 - 8) who hails from Turku, Finland and Torsti Huhtinen(56(1) - 16(1)) from Oulu, Finland.  

Round 1: 

Huhtinen steps inside.  Huhtinen pivots from in front of his opponent.  Huhtinen tries to land a right uppercut, but Tikkanen sidesteps and counters with a solid left uppercut to Huhtinen's body.  
Tikkanen switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Huhtinen closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Huhtinen gets on the inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Tikkanen throws a left uppercut, but Huhtinen holds on to his opponent.  Tikkanen uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Huhtinen behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Tikkanen.  
Huhtinen is on target with a left uppercut.  
Tikkanen is looking to keep his distance.  Huhtinen lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Tikkanen tries to step out of his opponents range.  Huhtinen finds the target with a spiteful jab.

Huhtinen walks Tikkanen down, trapping him in the corner.  Huhtinen lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Huhtinen gets on the inside and throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Huhtinen lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Huhtinen lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Huhtinen walks his opponent into a corner.  Tikkanen throws a left hook, but Huhtinen ties up his opponent.  Tikkanen pushes his forearm into Huhtinen's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Huhtinen hits home with a sharp left hook.  
Huhtinen pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
Huhtinen hits home with a solid left hook.  
Huhtinen lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Huhtinen throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Huhtinen ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Huhtinen pushes his forearm into Tikkanen's face.  The ref breaks Huhtinen's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Huhtinen's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.
