Angel Ragsac vs Mel Namocot

Boxing Daily Report from the Philippines National Finals 2037,  taking place on 11/04/2037 from Caloocan, Philippines:

The Caloocan venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Angel Ragsac (25(7) - 12) who hails from Cebu City, Philippines and Mel Namocot(4 - 5) from Santa Rosa, Philippines.  

Round 1: 

Namocot throws a right hook, but Ragsac ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Ragsac pushes his forearm into Namocot's face.  The ref breaks Ragsac's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Namocot almost instantly recovers. 
Ragsac throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Ragsac clinches his opponent.  Namocot throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Ragsac leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Namocot pushes his forearm into Ragsac's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Ragsac hits home with a right uppercut.  
Ragsac connects with a right uppercut.  Ragsac holds on to his opponent.  Ragsac is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Namocot tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Ragsac's kidney. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Namocot lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Ragsac drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  Ragsac clinches his opponent.  Ragsac uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Namocot's kidney. Ragsac is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Ragsac's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Ragsac lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  
Ragsac closes the distance and drives a stinging right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Ragsac is on target with a stinging right hook to Namocot's body.  
Ragsac walks Namocot onto the ropes.  Ragsac connects with a firm right hook.  
Ragsac walks Namocot into a corner.  Ragsac lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Ragsac clinches his opponent.  Namocot hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. Ragsac is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Ragsac lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Namocot tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook.  
Ragsac sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Namocot attempts to land a right hook, but Ragsac sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Ragsac lands a right uppercut to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.  Ragsac ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Ragsac pushes his forearm into Namocot's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Ragsac about fouling.  
Ragsac lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Ragsac lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND DROPS NAMOCOT TO THE CANVAS!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Ragsac!
