Boxing Daily Report from the Malaysia National Finals 2037,  taking place on 14/04/2037 from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia:

The Petaling Jaya venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Featherweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Amer Rasheed (10 - 9) who hails from Ipoh, Malaysia and Rashid Hai(14(3) - 4) from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.  

Round 1: 

Rasheed finds the target with a ramrod jab.  
Rasheed throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  
Rasheed is on target with a stinging jab.  
Hai advances into close range and is on target with a stinging left hook to Rasheed's body.  
Rasheed steps away from his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Rasheed finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Rasheed switches the action to the outside and throws a cross, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Rasheed is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Rasheed snaps his opponents head back with a hard jab.  
Hai is looking to close the distance.  Hai pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Rasheed recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Rasheed is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Rasheed sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Hai lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Rasheed lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Rasheed lands a spiteful jab.  
Rasheed steps to the outside and lands an overhand left.  
Hai steps inside and slams a hurtful left uppercut into his opponents body.  RASHEED WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Rasheed is looking to keep his distance.  Hai knows Rasheed is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Hai lands a right uppercut followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents body.  He then lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS RASHEED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  It looks like Rasheed has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Hai walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Rasheed throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Hai quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Hai throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the punch.  Hai ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Rasheed pushes his forearm into Hai's face.  The ref breaks Hai's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Rasheed steps away from his opponent and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a telling right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE RASHEED WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Rasheed almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Rasheed is looking to keep his distance and lands a firm cross.

Hai steps inside and throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Hai clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Hai pushes his forearm into Rasheed's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Rasheed is looking to keep his distance and tries to land a jab, but Hai sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Hai lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  Hai holds on to his opponent.  Hai is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Rasheed is looking to keep the action on the outside and finds the target with a jab.  Rasheed tries to land a jab, but Hai slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Hai advances into close range and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Hai is on target with a sharp right hook to his opponents body.  
Rasheed throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook.  
Hai pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Hai tries to step out of his opponents range.  Rasheed lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Hai advances into close range.  Rasheed lands a solid left hook.  Hai ties up his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Hai digs in a sharp right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Hai lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES RASHEED!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Hai!
