Boxing Daily Report from the Panama National Finals 2037,  taking place on 14/04/2037 from Panama City, Panama:

The Panama City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Aimon Placido (12(4) - 1) who hails from Panama City, Panama and Diego Juan(11(1) - 24) from Panama City, Panama.  

Round 1:

Placido switches the action to the outside and throws an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging right uppercut.

Juan throws a right uppercut, but Placido ties up his opponent.  Juan is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Juan lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  Placido ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Juan pushes his forearm into Placido's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Juan about fouling.  
Juan attempts to land a left hook, but Placido slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.

Placido throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Placido leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Placido connects with a sharp cross.  Placido tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left hook to Placido's ribs.  
Juan is looking to close the distance.  Placido lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Placido tries to step out of his opponents range.  Placido quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Juan connects with a cross.
