Fresco Segovia vs Neron Escajeda

Boxing Daily Report from the Paraguay National Finals 2037,  taking place on 14/04/2037 from San Lorenzo, Paraguay:

The San Lorenzo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Featherweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Fresco Segovia (26(2) - 11) who hails from Asuncion, Paraguay and Neron Escajeda(4 - 4) from Asuncion, Paraguay.  

Round 1: 

Escajeda drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Segovia lands with a sharp jab.  
Escajeda tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Segovia gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He then lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Escajeda quickly recovers. 
Escajeda is on target with a cross.  
Segovia steps inside.  Segovia quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Escajeda hits home with a cross.  
Escajeda throws a left hook, but Segovia clinches his opponent.  Escajeda leans on his opponent using all his weight. Segovia uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Escajeda behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Segovia to stop fouling.  
Escajeda quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands with a stiff jab.  
Escajeda attempts to land a jab, but Segovia blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Escajeda's body.  
Segovia is looking to close the distance.  Segovia pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Escajeda pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Segovia steps inside and digs in a solid right hook to Escajeda's body.  
Segovia lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Segovia connects with a sharp left hook.  
Segovia walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Escajeda lands a right hook.  
Segovia quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Escajeda hits home with a left hook.  Segovia holds on to his opponent.  Escajeda hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Escajeda.  
Escajeda throws a left hook, but Segovia ties up his opponent.  Segovia tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Escajeda behind the head. 
Segovia lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Escajeda attempts to land a right uppercut, but Segovia parries the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Segovia is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Escajeda sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Segovia lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Escajeda attempts to land a jab, but Segovia slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Escajeda walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Segovia is on target with a stinging right hook to his opponents ribcage.  Segovia tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Segovia steps inside and is on target with a solid left uppercut to his opponents liver.  ESCAJEDA IS HURT!  Escajeda recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Segovia snaps his opponents head back with a solid jab.

Escajeda tries to step out of his opponents range and tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Escajeda tries to keep the action at long range.  Segovia is on target with a cross.  
Segovia is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Segovia walks Escajeda onto the ropes.  Segovia is on target with a solid left hook.  Segovia ties up his opponent.  Segovia throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Segovia about fouling.

Escajeda tries to keep the action at long range.  Segovia is on target with a sharp overhand right.  
Escajeda lands a right uppercut.  Segovia clinches his opponent.  Segovia is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Segovia.  
Segovia sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook.
