The Christchurch venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have the Final of the Welterweight divison.

Leas throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Leas's body.  
Leas feints a left hook, but Rodgerson is not fooled and is on target with a weighty left hook to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE LEAS WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Leas tries to keep the action at long range.  Rodgerson stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Rodgerson lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body, AND SENDS LEAS SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 9.  It looks like Leas has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Rodgerson pivots to the left of his opponent.  Rodgerson throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Rodgerson clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Rodgerson pushes his forearm into Leas's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.
