Alejandro Miers vs Saturnin Mandujano

Boxing Daily Report from the Puerto Rico National Finals 2037,  taking place on 17/04/2037 from San Juan, Puerto Rico:

The San Juan venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have the Final of the Middleweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Alejandro Miers (12 - 14(2)) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Saturnin Mandujano(33(2) - 12(1)) from Carolina, Puerto Rico.  

Round 1: 

Mandujano closes the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Mandujano tries to land a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Mandujano lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Miers lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Mandujano is looking to close the distance and hits home with a solid right hook.  
Mandujano manages to force Miers into the corner.  Mandujano lands a sharp right hook.  
Miers tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Mandujano digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  Mandujano throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Miers to the neutral corner.  He lectures Mandujano but does not take away a point.

Miers is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands with a sharp jab.  
Mandujano lands a SAVAGE overhand right.  MIERS HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.

Mandujano lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND DROPS MIERS!  He remains on the canvas as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Mandujano!
