Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 24/04/2037 from Ponce, Puerto Rico:

The Ponce venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Elias Abeita (28 - 6) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Elliot Salmon(1 - 10(1)) from Brisbane, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Abeita quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Abeita lands with a hard jab.  Abeita throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Abeita gets on the inside and hits home with a left hook.

Salmon sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Salmon digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  Salmon tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Salmon's ribs.  
Abeita lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Salmon gets on the inside.  Abeita lands a right hook.  
Abeita lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Abeita is on target with a right hook.  
Salmon closes the distance.  Abeita hits home with a sharp right hook.  
Abeita lands a hard jab.

Abeita advances into close range and is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Abeita lands a jab.  
Salmon steps inside and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Salmon pivots to the left of his opponent.  Salmon throws a right uppercut, but Abeita clinches his opponent.  Salmon is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Salmon to stop fouling.  
Abeita is looking to keep his distance and connects with an overhand right.  
Salmon gets on the inside.  Abeita goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Salmon's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Abeita switches the action to the outside.  Salmon lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Abeita tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a solid cross.  
Abeita finds the target with a jab.  
Abeita lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Abeita gets on the inside.  Salmon throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook to his opponents body.
