Jasper Russell vs Paul Huntley

Boxing Daily Report from the UK National Finals 2037,  taking place on 26/04/2037 from Bristol, UK:

The Bristol venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jasper Russell (20(1) - 16) who hails from Sheffield, UK and Paul Huntley(7 - 18) from Wolverhampton, UK.  

Round 1: 

Russell steps inside and is on target with a firm right hook to Huntley's body.

Huntley pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Russell advances into close range.  Huntley throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Russell throws a left uppercut, but is unable to find the target.  Russell clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Russell pushes his forearm into Huntley's face.  The referee warns Russell and breaks the clinch.  
Russell lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Huntley almost instantly recovers. 
Huntley drives a left uppercut into Russell's liver.  Russell clinches his opponent.  Russell is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Russell.  
Huntley sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Russell drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Russell is looking to close the distance.  Huntley lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Russell digs in a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Russell lands a solid jab.  
Russell is looking to close the distance.  Huntley throws a left hook, but Russell clinches his opponent.  Russell tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Huntley's kidney. The referee warns Russell and breaks the clinch.

Huntley throws a left hook, but Russell ties up his opponent.  Russell is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Huntley pushes his forearm into Russell's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Russell walks Huntley down, trapping him on the ropes.  Russell is on target with a sharp left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Russell lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Huntley tries to land a cross, but Russell sidesteps and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Huntley sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a sharp jab.  
Huntley switches the action to the outside.  Huntley quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Russell connects with a firm overhand left.  Russell throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Russell digs in a firm right hook to his opponents ribcage.

Russell throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.

Russell sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Huntley quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a cross.

Russell steps inside.  Huntley throws a left hook, but Russell holds on to his opponent.  Huntley leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Huntley feints a right, and then hits home with a solid jab.  
Russell steps inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Huntley tries to step out of his opponents range.  Russell finds the target with a jab.  
Huntley pivots from in front of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Huntley tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross.  
Russell closes the distance and whips in a spiteful left hook to Huntley's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE HUNTLEY WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
It looks like Huntley has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
