Hugh Gezi vs John Chatara

Boxing Daily Report from the Zimbabwe National Finals 2037,  taking place on 26/04/2037 from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe:

The Bulawayo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Middleweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Hugh Gezi (9 - 14) who hails from Harare, Zimbabwe and John Chatara(18 - 20) from Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe.

Chatara gets on the inside.  Chatara pivots from in front of his opponent, but Gezi lands a left uppercut.

Chatara is looking to close the distance.  Chatara pivots to the side of his opponent, but Gezi lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Chatara steps inside and forces Gezi to back into the ropes.  Chatara goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Gezi time to recover.

Gezi sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Gezi is on target with a solid cross.  Gezi tries to land a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.
