Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 28/04/2037 from Honolulu, USA:

The Honolulu venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are John Urquhart (46(13) - 16) who hails from Honolulu, USA and Richard Fitzroy(0 - 6) from New York City, USA.  

Round 1: 

Urquhart lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.

Fitzroy throws a left hook, but Urquhart holds on to his opponent.  Urquhart leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Urquhart's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Urquhart connects with a cross.  
Urquhart closes the distance and drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Urquhart gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook to Fitzroy's liver.  
Fitzroy connects with a cross.  
Urquhart closes the distance.  Fitzroy throws a right hook, but Urquhart holds on to his opponent.  Urquhart is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Urquhart's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Fitzroy sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Fitzroy throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Urquhart steps inside and walks Fitzroy down, trapping him on the ropes.  Urquhart lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Fitzroy throws a left hook, but Urquhart holds on to his opponent.  Fitzroy is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Fitzroy about fouling.

Fitzroy is looking to keep the action on the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Urquhart sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Urquhart sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a left uppercut.  
Fitzroy steps to the outside.  Urquhart lands a sharp jab.  
Urquhart lands a firm left hook.  
Urquhart lands a jab, right hook and a jab to his opponents head.

Urquhart lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Fitzroy recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Urquhart advances into close range and lands two left hook's to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Urquhart lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Urquhart knows Fitzroy is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Urquhart lands a MASSIVE left hook.  FITZROY IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  THE COUNT REACHES 10, BUT FITZROY IS UNABLE TO GET UP!  The winner by KO is Urquhart!
