Kenji Yoshida vs Kenji Moriyama

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 02/05/2037 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Kenji Yoshida (43 - 10) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Kenji Moriyama(1 - 3) from Tokyo, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Yoshida is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Moriyama connects with a cross.

Yoshida pivots to the right of his opponent and hits home with a stinging cross.

Moriyama closes the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Yoshida on the ropes.  Yoshida throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps.  Yoshida clinches his opponent.  Moriyama pushes his forearm into Yoshida's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Moriyama about fouling.
