Shinji Hayakawa vs Brad Newlands

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 07/05/2037 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Shinji Hayakawa (13(2) - 1) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Brad Newlands(7 - 10(3)) from Georgetown, Guyana.  

Round 1: 

Hayakawa closes the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Hayakawa throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Hayakawa gets on the inside and is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Hayakawa digs in a right hook to Newlands's body.  Hayakawa ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Newlands pushes his forearm into Hayakawa's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
