Wayne Vert vs Lazar Kirdyapkin

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 12/05/2037 from Nassau, Bahamas:

The Nassau venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Wayne Vert (24 - 6) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Lazar Kirdyapkin(2 - 0) from Novosibirsk, Russia.  

Round 1: 

Kirdyapkin sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Vert lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Vert drives a firm left hook into Kirdyapkin's body.  
Vert is looking to close the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Vert tries to land a left hook, but Kirdyapkin slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Vert hits home with a sharp right hook.  Vert attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Kirdyapkin's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Kirdyapkin is looking to close the distance.  Vert drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Kirdyapkin gets on the inside.  Vert lands a stinging right hook.  Vert ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Vert pushes his forearm into Kirdyapkin's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Vert stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Vert lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  It looks like Kirdyapkin has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Vert steps inside.  Vert quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Vert lands a left uppercut.  Vert clinches his opponent.  Kirdyapkin is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Vert pushes his forearm into Kirdyapkin's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Vert.  
Vert connects with a left hook.  
Vert lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the head.  Vert holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Kirdyapkin pushes his forearm into Vert's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Kirdyapkin digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  Vert holds on to his opponent.  Vert leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.
