Dillon Morgen vs Cody Pesce

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 20/05/2037 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dillon Morgen (26 - 3) who hails from Saint Paul, USA and Cody Pesce(4 - 6) from Paterson, USA.  

Round 1: 

Morgen throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Morgen snaps his opponents head back with a stiff jab.  
Pesce is looking to close the distance.  Morgen lands a left hook.  
Morgen steps away from his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Morgen tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Pesce sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Morgen lands an overhand left.

Pesce steps inside and tries to land a left hook, but Morgen sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Pesce steps inside.  Pesce quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Morgen is on target with a right hook.  
Morgen tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a cross.  
Morgen hits home with an overhand left.  
Morgen tries to land a jab, but Pesce slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Morgen lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Morgen's trainer is advising his fighter to keep his distance and coast to the win.

Morgen steps to the outside and lands an overhand right.  
Morgen steps away from his opponent and lands a solid jab.  
Morgen is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  Morgen attempts to land a jab, but Pesce blocks the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Pesce is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Pesce lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Pesce throws a left hook, but Morgen holds on to his opponent.  Morgen is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Morgen and breaks the clinch.  
Morgen is looking to keep his distance.  Morgen stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Pesce attempts to land a jab, but Morgen sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

Morgen tries to keep the action at long range and hits home with a stinging jab.  
Morgen steps to the outside and lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Morgen lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Morgen lands a left hook.  Morgen attempts to land a left hook, but Pesce parries the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Morgen connects with a right hook.  
Morgen lands a left hook.  
Morgen drives a left hook into Pesce's body.  
Morgen is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Pesce throws a left uppercut, but Morgen ties up his opponent.  Morgen uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Pesce behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Morgen.
