Jose Carolus vs Fatmir Mripa

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 21/05/2037 from Ponce, Puerto Rico:

The Ponce venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jose Carolus (32 - 1) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Fatmir Mripa(1 - 3) from Durres, Albania.  

Round 1: 

Mripa is on target with a jab.  
Carolus steps away from his opponent.  Carolus sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Mripa lands a stiff jab.  
Mripa steps away from his opponent.  Mripa feints a jab, tricking Carolus into countering with a right uppercut.  Mripa springs the trap, countering with  a sharp right hook to Carolus's ribs.

Mripa pivots from in front of his opponent, but Carolus lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Mripa tries to step out of his opponents range.  Carolus lands a spiteful jab.  Carolus tries to land a cross, but Mripa slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Carolus is looking to close the distance.  Mripa lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Carolus is on target with a stinging left hook to Mripa's liver.

Mripa tries to step out of his opponents range and snaps his opponents head back with a stinging jab.
