Isamu Kawai vs Hiroki Shiro

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 13/06/2037 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Isamu Kawai (11 - 3) who hails from Chofu, Japan and Hiroki Shiro(1 - 19(1)) from Higashiosaka, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Shiro is on target with a cross.  Shiro attempts to land an overhand left, but Kawai sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  
Shiro throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Kawai switches the action to the outside and hits home with a cross.  
Kawai finds the target with a jab.  
Kawai is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Shiro manouvers Kawai into a neutral corner.  Kawai finds the target with a jab.  
Kawai hits home with a left hook.  
Kawai tries to keep the action at long range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Kawai steps to the outside and connects with a solid cross.  
Kawai attempts to land a jab, but Shiro dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Kawai lands a stinging cross.  
Shiro lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Shiro tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Shiro lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a cross to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kawai's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.

Kawai finds the target with a jab.  
Kawai steps away from his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Shiro lands a right hook.  
Kawai tries to land a cross, but Shiro blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Shiro steps inside.  Shiro goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Kawai to the neutral corner.  He warns Shiro that he could be heading for a point deduction.  
Kawai pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents ribs.
