The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ricky Taylor (29 - 6) who hails from St. Petersburg, USA and Hugh Leonards(0 - 1) from Indianapolis, USA.  

Round 1: 

Taylor advances into close range and lands a sharp left uppercut.  
Taylor lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Taylor throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Taylor advances into close range and hits home with a right uppercut.  
Leonards feints a right hook, and then drives a jab into Taylor's body.  
Taylor is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Leonards throws a left hook, but Taylor ties up his opponent.  Taylor pushes his forearm into Leonards's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Taylor to stop fouling.

Taylor pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
Taylor lands with a ramrod jab.  
Taylor closes the distance and drives a sharp left hook into his opponents body.  Taylor clinches his opponent.  Taylor uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Leonards behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Taylor lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Leonards sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Taylor connects with a firm cross.  
Taylor is looking to close the distance and attempts to land a right hook, but Leonards blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Taylor's body.  
Taylor lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Taylor clinches his opponent.  Taylor leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Taylor tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Leonards's kidney. Leonards pushes his forearm into Taylor's face.  The ref breaks Taylor's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Taylor lands a stinging right hook.  Taylor ties up his opponent.  Taylor leans on his opponent using all his weight. Leonards uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Taylor's kidney. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Leonards about fouling.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Leonards's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!
