Mark Proffitt vs Fraser Stenhouse

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 04/08/2037 from Las Vegas, USA:

The Las Vegas venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Mark Proffitt (24 - 5) who hails from Las Vegas, USA and Fraser Stenhouse(3 - 7) from Providence, USA.  

Round 1: 

Proffitt hits the target with a solid jab.  
Proffitt steps away from his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Proffitt steps away from his opponent and attempts to land a cross, but Stenhouse sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Stenhouse pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Proffitt is on target with an overhand right.  
Proffitt is looking to keep the action on the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Stenhouse slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Proffitt lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Stenhouse pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Stenhouse gets on the inside.  Stenhouse leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Proffitt steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.

Proffitt steps away from his opponent.  Proffitt feints a jab, but Stenhouse is not fooled and responds with a right uppercut.

Stenhouse is looking to close the distance and connects with a right hook.  Stenhouse tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Proffitt switches the action to the outside.  Proffitt sidesteps to the left of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Stenhouse closes the distance.  Proffitt pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a left uppercut into Stenhouse's body.  
Proffitt snaps his opponents head back with a spiteful jab.  Proffitt attempts to land a cross, but Stenhouse sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Proffitt feints a left hook, but Stenhouse ignores the feint and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Proffitt finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Proffitt hits home with a firm cross.  
Proffitt is looking to keep his distance and is on target with an overhand right.  
Proffitt feints a right hook, and then lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Stenhouse steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Proffitt's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid. Stenhouse's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!

Stenhouse gets on the inside.  Proffitt connects with a left hook.  
Proffitt finds the target with a jab.  
Proffitt sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Proffitt tries to step out of his opponents range and connects with a cross.  
Proffitt sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Stenhouse connects with a right hook.  Proffitt clinches his opponent.  Stenhouse leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Stenhouse steps inside.  Proffitt throws a left hook, but his opponent steps away from the shot.  Proffitt clinches his opponent.  Proffitt is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Proffitt.  
Proffitt feints a jab, but Stenhouse is not fooled and lands with a right hook.  
Stenhouse hits home with a cross.  
Proffitt quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  Proffitt throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Stenhouse time to recover.
