The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Michael Rowand (21 - 4) who hails from Modesto, USA and Mark Strauss(2 - 19) from Kansas City, USA.  

Round 1:

Rowand switches the action to the outside.  Rowand sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Strauss gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a stinging left hook to Strauss's ribs.  
Strauss is looking to close the distance and manouvers Rowand into the corner.  Rowand is on target with a stinging left uppercut.  
Strauss steps inside.  Strauss pivots from in front of his opponent, but Rowand is on target with a stinging right hook.  
Strauss advances into close range.  Strauss pivots to the right of his opponent, but Rowand is on target with a sharp right uppercut to Strauss's ribs.  
Rowand switches the action to the outside.  Rowand sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Strauss walks Rowand onto the ropes.  Rowand finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Strauss sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Rowand is on target with a jab.  
Rowand lands a sharp left hook.  Rowand clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Strauss pushes his forearm into Rowand's face.  The ref breaks Rowand's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
