Inigo Craigo vs Mason Soma

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 14/04/2039 from San Antonio, USA:

The San Antonio venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Inigo Craigo (56 - 2) who hails from San Antonio, USA and Mason Soma(1 - 2) from Honolulu, USA.  

Round 1: 

Craigo hits home with a sharp overhand left.  
Soma cuts off the ring, trapping Craigo on the ropes.  Soma drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Soma is looking to close the distance.  Craigo drives a stinging left hook into his opponents body.  Craigo clinches his opponent.  Craigo tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Soma behind the head.

Soma steps inside and throws a right hook, but Craigo holds on to his opponent.  Craigo is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Craigo about fouling.  
Craigo finds the target with a jab.  
Soma lands with a sharp jab.  
Craigo drives a firm left hook into his opponents body.  
Soma steps inside.  Soma sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Craigo hits home with a solid left hook.  
Soma is on target with a cross.  
Craigo is looking to keep his distance.  Craigo contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Soma hits home with an overhand left.  Soma tries to land a jab, but Craigo sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.  
Craigo lands a straight 1 - 2.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Soma's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!

Craigo sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Craigo lands a sharp cross.  Craigo throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Soma is on target with a jab.  
Soma advances into close range.  Craigo lands a sharp left hook.  
Craigo switches the action to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Soma hits home with a stiff jab.  
Craigo tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross to the body, and then to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Soma recovers before his opponent can take advantage.
