Emilio Tomes vs Ryo Alejos

Boxing Daily Report from the Paraguay National Finals 2021,  taking place on 11/04/2021 from San Lorenzo, Paraguay:

The San Lorenzo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Emilio Tomes (5 - 7) who hails from Asuncion, Paraguay and Ryo Alejos(14 - 8) from Ciudad del Este, Paraguay.  

Round 1: 

Tomes finds the target with a jab.  
Alejos closes the distance.  Alejos sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a stinging right hook.  
Tomes is on target with a firm right hook.  Tomes tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
