Aaron Riddell vs Ian Weir

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Auckland promoted show at North Shore Cowman, North Shore,  taking place on 27/10/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Aaron Riddell (9 - 4 - 1) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and Ian Weir(9 - 3 - 3) from Manukau, New Zealand.  Riddell weighed in at 134 pounds And 12 ounces, while Weir weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Woodburn, and the three ringside judges are Glynn Telford, Opi Ngaikiha and Joey Bridgeforth.
