Nicandro Portela vs Juan Xavier

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Brazil-Rio de Janeiro promoted show at Rio de Janeiro Ferro, Rio de Janeiro,  taking place on 15/10/2025:

Clearly AI Brazil-Rio de Janeiro have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Brazil-Rio de Janeiro Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nicandro Portela (8 - 11 - 3) who hails from Sao Goncalo, Brazil and Juan Xavier(2 - 11 - 4) from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.  Both Portela and Xavier weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cris Brandao, and the three ringside judges are Alejandro Freitas, Ricardo Souza and Rogelio Socia.
