Santiago Rosete vs Juan Riva

Boxing Daily Report from the Ngcobo Promotions promoted show at Havana Zaragosa, Havana,  taking place on 19/01/2026:

Clearly Ngcobo Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cuba Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Santiago Rosete (13 - 8(3)) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Juan Riva(9 - 7(1) - 1) from Las Tunas, Cuba.  Both Rosete and Riva weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Urvano Domingo, and the three ringside judges are Juan Ledezma, Alejandro Limas and Luis Sanchez.
