Angel Luna vs Montana Badilla

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ecuador-Azuay promoted show at Cuenco La Torre, Cuenco,  taking place on 18/04/2026:

Clearly AI Ecuador-Azuay have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ecuador-Azuay Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Angel Luna (7 - 9 - 3) who hails from Cuenco, Ecuador and Montana Badilla(19(1) - 3) from Cuenco, Ecuador.  Both Luna and Badilla weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dimos Siman, and the three ringside judges are Guido Truxillo, Baltasar Ozuna and Ricardo Almas.  

Round 1: 

Badilla closes the distance and connects with a left hook.  
Badilla lands a right uppercut.
