Carlos Venegas vs Lisandro Olgin

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nicaragua-Managua promoted show at Isidro Preciado Gym, Managua,  taking place on 27/07/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nicaragua-Managua Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carlos Venegas (14 - 3 - 4) who hails from Managua, Nicaragua and Lisandro Olgin(12 - 5 - 1) from Tipitapa, Nicaragua.  Both Venegas and Olgin weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Aimon Cortinas, and the three ringside judges are Rodrigo Alcala, Roman Rodriguez and Francisco Osegueda.  

Round 1: 

Venegas connects with a cross.  
Olgin manages to force Venegas into a neutral corner.  Olgin is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.
