Elnur Kerimov vs Farrukh Karimi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Tajikistan-Dushanbe promoted show at Dushanbe Yassin, Dushanbe,  taking place on 01/09/2026:

Clearly AI Tajikistan-Dushanbe have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Tajikistan-Dushanbe Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Elnur Kerimov (9 - 1 - 2) who hails from Dushanbe, Tajikistan and Farrukh Karimi(4 - 13 - 3) from Dushanbe, Tajikistan.  Both Kerimov and Karimi weighed in at 135 pounds.
