Urvano Ramon vs Rafael Tomes

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Cuba-Santiago de Cuba promoted show at Jerrold Truxillo Gym, Santiago de Cuba,  taking place on 15/09/2026:

Clearly AI Cuba-Santiago de Cuba have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cuba-Santiago de Cuba Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Urvano Ramon (11 - 10 - 3) who hails from Santiago de Cuba, Cuba and Rafael Tomes(10 - 9 - 4) from Santiago de Cuba, Cuba.  Ramon weighed in at 129 pounds and 11 ounces, while Tomes weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vicente Yanez, and the three ringside judges are Montego Iglesias, Juan Sahagun and Montego Iglesias.
