Sierra Laura vs Sancho Mejias

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nicaragua-Leon promoted show at Leon Giraldo, Leon,  taking place on 27/10/2026:

Clearly AI Nicaragua-Leon have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nicaragua-Leon Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sierra Laura (14(1) - 7 - 1) who hails from Leon, Nicaragua and Sancho Mejias(3 - 12 - 5) from Leon, Nicaragua.  Both Laura and Mejias weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Diego Galano, and the three ringside judges are Marco Sabio, Rio Zaragoza and Diego Vargas.
